Simone Inzagi thanks the intersupporters, directors, owners, coaching staff and players after receiving Panchina Doro on Monday 2023-24, claiming that he “want to be in this situation” despite having to play every three days from now until the end of the season.
That’s what Inzagi was like 2023-24 Panchina D’Oro winner has been won On Monday, the annual award given to Italy’s best coach was voted by Serie A, B, C, as well as Serie A, Serie B femminire, men’s and women’s futsal league peers.
This was Inzagi’s first victory and the first winner of Inter since Antonio Conte in 2020-21. Jose Mourinho was the latest recipient before Conte in 2009-10.
Inzagi placed Gianpiero Gasperini in first place this year, but Gasperini won an individual award for winning the Atalanta and the Europa League at the end of last season.
Inzaghi responds to the victory of Panchina D’Oro 2023-24
Inzagi found a brief moment on Monday discussing the awards with the media.
“When there’s an award like this, the whole family should be on stage. Start with the fans who are always with us and my staff who have been following me since I started coaching. I’m not here without them. TMW.
Inter won the Treble from 2024 to 2025. They are currently sitting at the top of the Serie A table, facing rival Milan on two legs in the Coppa Italia semifinals in April, and will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinals in the coming weeks.
“Now we’ve won the final three months of the season. I’m not going to say which games are important, but they’re all exciting,” Inzagi said in an evaluation of the remaining equipment for Inter this season.
“We play every three days in Italy and Europe, but we wanted to be in this situation by the end of March, and we are playing for everything.
Inzagi was also asked if he liked whether journalists could vote for Panchina Doro rather than just a coach.
He replied: “No, the votes were paid by my colleagues this morning, and I publicly thanked them. It’s because I’m always trying to improve, so we challenge each other on the pitch every Sunday.
“The club knows what I do. I feel grateful. I am happy with Inter. My family is doing well in Milan too. We have to continue knowing that every 72 hours our coach is under surveillance.”
