Milan President Paolo Scaroni acknowledged that he was “unsatisfied” with the team’s sporting results in 2024-25, claiming that participating in tournaments such as the Champions League and Club World Cup is a “minimum” expectation for Rossoneri.
It was a tough season for Milan in terms of pitch outcomes. Despite winning Supercoppa Italiana in Sergio Concencyo’s second game, the team is currently sitting ninth in the Serie A standings, knocking out of the Champions League by the underdog Fayenode side, which was depleted at the beginning of the year.
Rossonelli is nine points away from his Champions League position, so if you plan to compete in next year’s tournament, you will need to overtake five teams by the end of the 2024-25 season.
President Milan: “We are not satisfied with the results of the sport.

In a detailed interview with Lagazzettadello Sports released on Saturday, Scaroni outlined the minimum expectations for the team to move forward.
“What I’m talking about about the Champions League, Club World Cup and other cups is undoubtedly the least satisfying thing Milan is,” Scaroni told Gazzetta.
“And if we look to the future, we have to say that there will be a great deal of attention to international competition in 20 years. That is inevitable, a phenomenon that involves all sports.

Scaroni has made it clear that pitch results this season have not met the required standards so far.
“As I said before, we’re not happy with the outcome of the sport. We’re very active in the transfer market and no one has signed as many players as we have.
He gave some examples of positive examples from the Rossoneri team in 2025.
