Rolando Mandragora and Moise Kean did what they ultimately did enough to send Fiorentina to their third straight conference league semi-final against Real Betis despite a 2-2 draw with Celje.
Viola scored his first leg 2-1 in Slovenia, but with Mattias Moreno, Dodo and Nicolo Zaniolo, Andrea Kolpani injured, Pablo Mari Cup tied up and Robin Gossen only fitted on the bench. Serge missed Armandas Cusy and Neji Ajamaja after knee surgery.
See how it all unfolded on live blogs.
Marine Ponrasic nodded Roland Mandelagora’s cross over the bar, and Pongrasic spiked forward, his disguised ball released Moisie Keene and forced a save on the near post.
Serge also threatened when Tamar Svetlin completed a give-and-go with svit seslar and exploded into the box, forcing him to make a difficult low save from David de Gere.
Mandragora nodded straight to the goalkeeper from close range after Nicolo Fagiori’s back heel flick sent Albert Gudmundson to the left to set up the cross.
Luca Ranieri almost repeated goals from the first leg, but this time the header of the flick-on corner was wrestled on the line by Ricardo Silva.

Fiorentina took the lead and expanded the total when Pongrasic sent Mandelagora to the bottom right and predicted a goalkeeper during rushing by stretching his right foot.
Logan Delaurier-Chaubet stabbed De Gea’s gloves from afar in difficult circumstances caused by heavy rain.

Celje equalized after the restart when Aljosa Matko ran over to Smart Zabukovnik through the ball and surprised Fabiano Parisi to defeat De Gea on a nearby post.
Fiorentina visibly shaking, and Serge turned the game in the resulting corner when Mandragora was forced to take a tough clearance to stop Matco’s header from six yards. Klemen Nemanic nodded from Seslar’s set-play and was ready to level the tie in the tally at 3-3.
Within two minutes Keene put the ball in the net again as he ran to Mandelagora’s ball, floating upwards, cutting through the inside of Juan Jonieto and drilling the finish through his leg with his right boot. The offside flag went up, but he was able to celebrate after a long Var check showed him on the level.
Serge was in terrible confusion with another Mandragora free kick. The defender knocked down on Ranieri’s path and bundled it out of six yards, but he was offside in the original set play and was allowed.
Keene had the ball in the net in the 89th minute, but was also banned for offside on Amir Richardson Pass after hitting the roof of the net.
Fiorentina 2-2 Celje (4-3 AGG)
Mandragora 37 (f), Matt 54 (c), Nemanic 65 (c), Keene 67 (f)
