Simone Inzagi feels Inter Milan “doesn’t have the budget” for a large team, but still wants to be ambitious.
Nerazzurri’s coach spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia via Fcinternews after today’s Serie won over Torino. He also insisted that he will not recover from his injuries to Lazio next weekend.
Inter Milan issued a big statement in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Nerazzurri defeated Barcelona in a very dramatic 4-3 victory. This led them to book their locations in a total of 7-6 scoreline after the wild semi-finals.
Inter knocked out German giant Bayern Munich in the previous round.
Nerazuli also achieved eye-catching results against the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal during the league stage of the competition.
With already reaching the Champions League final in 2023, Inter is now firmly established among the most frightening aspects of the competition.
Inzaghi: “Inter doesn’t have a large team budget, but I want to do better.”
Inter Milan coach Simone Inzagi spoke about the team’s victory over Barcelona.
“I saw it again in the evening,” he said. “I wanted to watch the game from above.”
“We played a great match against the opposition of the highest quality,” Inzagi continued.
“We did well. Even the players who came out of the bench gave us a big hand.”
“That’s the only way you can fight for something like the Champions League,” Inter said.
“They say they’ll protect it deeply,” Inzagi pointed out. “But I know that teams like PSG, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and others don’t have budgets.”
“But we want to have a heart and an organization and do better than them.”
“We may not be the strongest team,” admitted the Nerazuri coach. “But with that mind, we can compete with anyone.”
Inzaghi predicts: injury recovery and Lazio

Meanwhile, Intercoach Simone Inzagie has expressed her thoughts on plans for next week.
“We definitely have a few days off,” he said. “Because after such a fierce fixture list, everyone needs to rest.”
“For players out there, I don’t think they’ll get one of them back against Lazio.”
“We’ll see who will be available in our final match against Como,” Inzagi added.
“We need to play two great games against two quality teams,” the Nerazuri coach revealed. “And trains you calmly with a good attitude, as anxiety won’t go anywhere.”
Inter currently lacks Lautaro Martinez, Benjamin Prabado, Henrik Mkhitalyaan and David Fratesi due to injuries.
Meanwhile, Inzagi also thought about Nikola Zarewski’s performance.
“He’s doing very well,” Inter said. “He’s settled on our team very well. He’s a quality player.”
Inzagi described “he grew up in that role” among Zarevsky, who plays in offensive attacks on midfielders.
“And he also knows perfectly how to play for Wingback.”
“We couldn’t start players like Karhanoguru and Barrera,” Coach Inter said. “So I had the opportunity to see Nicola playing with Correa with Taremi.”
