Dusan Vlahovic is the highest-paid player in Serie A, far more exempt from the 9 million euros won by Inter’s Lautaro Martinez on his annual EUR 12 million contract.
According to information released by Calcio e Finanza via Sport Mediaset, the new Bianconeri signing Jonathan David will also be the fifth-highest winner in the league.
Vlahovic is a much higher earner, and Martinez follows behind. The gap between Vlahovic and Argentine is 3 million euros, but the gap between Martinez and third-placed Barella and Calhanoglu is another 2.5 million euros.
The wage gap and a coordinated effort to reduce wages means that the money paid to players signed this summer appears to be lower in comparison.

Manuel Akanji became Inter’s fifth-highest paid player, with the new Bianconeri being David, Lois Openda and Edon Zegrova taking part in the Old Ladies contract rankings on the 10th.

Serie A: Milan’s wages struggle as original language, more than Naples’ McTominai
New Milan signs Adrian Rabiot and Christopher Nucank to arrive at the same wages as Portuguese forward Rafael Rio, making the trio the highest-paid player in the Rossoneri. However, in some shock, Divock Origi remains in Lombardy, currently paying 4 million euros per season, and despite not making a match on the side since the 2022-23 season, he is the club’s fourth-highest winner.
Naples continues to keep wages relatively low, with the exception of new signatures Kevin de Bruin and Rasmus Hoilund. Last season’s Serie A MVP Scott McTominay costs just 3 million euros per season.
