Juventus appeared as the winner in the first Derby doItalia of the season, overcoming Inter Milan 4-3 in a dramatic match, with Alessandro Bastoni claiming his side was “more appropriate.”
It was a turbulent event between two rivals, with both sides taking advantage of non-strong goalkeeping performances.
Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer was unable to save any of the four Juventus shots of the target.
However, there was little he could do to prevent the spectacular long-term efforts from Kenan Yildiz and Vasilije Adzic.
Two goals from Hakan Karhanoglu have returned to his recent criticism, but that alone was not enough for Nerazzurri.
Brothers Marcus and Keffren Thurham each scored their first full match in goals in Serie A.
Inter Milan’s defender Bastoni says Nerazzuri “deserves more” in Juventus’ defeat
Talked to Dazn after the game and in a quote via Fcinternews, Alessandro Bastoni answered several questions about the match.
“When you acknowledge your four goals, the only idea you have is negative thoughts,” he said.
“We were a little unlucky with certain incidents and could have been better. We deserved more.
“On the other hand, it’s probably better to take these defeats early, as the season is still long.”
Bastoni was asked what happened in the final 10 minutes of the game.
Inter headed into the ending stage 3-2 before two late goals from Bianconeri turned the game into a head.
“I don’t know what happened,” Bastoni said.
“We were a little tired towards the end, but after acknowledging four times it’s difficult to appreciate your performance.”
Bastoni added, “Now, the Champions League will restart in a few days. Understand what I’ve done wrong and start again.”
Bastoni looks back at the loss of the Inter Milan Champions League and reveals that he could have done better with the loss of the Derby

Bastoni was asked to comment on the remarks made by Christian Chive’s head coach about a team that needs to overcome the final 5-0 Champions League loss to PSG last season.
“I talk for myself, and for me it’s another season,” the defender said.
“I took pride in the Champions League final last year.
“Not all players can say that at the end of their career.”
“Of course we wanted to win,” he added.
“Of course, there’s not much you can do after you play the dominant first half today and go down 2-1.
“I hope there’s a little more luck in the future and move forward.”
Bastoni admitted that his team lacked “ruthlessness” in the final 10 minutes, saying, “On the field, we can feel that our attitude is better than them.”
