Roma vs. inter chivu: "every game is a final":

Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu praised his team’s performance and Lautaro Martinez’s leadership after their 2-0 win over Lazio at San Siro.

With this result, the Nerazzurri are back at the top of Serie A, alongside Roma.

The Romanian coach praised the team’s team spirit and captain Lautaro Martinez.

The Argentine national team’s goal put Inter on track for their fourth straight victory in all competitions.

After the final whistle, Chivu spoke to DAZN and reflected on his captain’s stability and calm presence.

“This is the result of his hard work for the group,” Kivu said, via FCInterNews.

“If you’re calm, you’ll score. If you’re a leader, you always have to stay calm. He knows how much he puts his heart into everything he does for the team. He knows how much he puts his heart into everything he does for the team.”

“He’s a leader and I’m happy to coach him. It doesn’t matter to me whether he scores or not.”

The manager was pleased with both the intensity and control his players showed against Maurizio Sarri’s side.

“I liked the approach and the desire to have an advantage even against someone who could be hurt at any moment,” Kivu explained.

“We knew what to do and we did it well.”

He also had special praise for Petar Sučić and Carlos Augusto, two players who have grown in impact despite not being regular starters.

“I care about them a lot. We have 22 players and they all work hard for the cause,” Chivu said.

“It’s never easy to make changes because you lose a little bit of balance and familiarity. But I’m happy with their progress. They’ve adapted well and there’s still a lot of room for improvement.”

Chivu then emphasized that Inter are evolving into a team that can maintain a high press and constant attack.

“It’s not easy to maintain this attitude when you’re playing every three days,” he admitted.

“But everyone on the team contributes, and rotating members give others rest time, which makes this approach possible.

“This was our seventh game in 18 days, and the players always showed energy, dominated the game and lived up to the demands of the coach.”

Kivu: “Right now I’m going to spend a few days with my family and then focus on the derby”

After the international break, attention shifted to Derby della Madonnina, but Chivu allowed himself a short break to recharge.

“Tonight I’m going to spend time with my family, watch the NFL, and take a few days off,” he smiled.

“I wish the players the best of luck when they travel with the national team. I will be working with the players who are staying here for three days and then have the weekend off with my wife and daughters.

“Once everyone’s back we’ll have two days to prepare for the derby.”

The coach also revealed that he and former teammate Bobo Vieri will be spending part of the holiday in Madrid to attend an NFL event.
