Milan are set to hold a series of meetings with their new head coach and managerial candidates this week, but the latest information suggests that adviser Zlatan Ibrahimovic and technical director candidate Ralf Rangnick already have different visions for the club’s future.
Milan are looking for a new head coach
Milan missed out on Champions League qualification on the final day of the 2025-26 season, and the following day the club decided to part ways with manager Massimiliano Allegri, sporting director Igli Tare, technical director Geoffrey Moncada and CEO Giorgio Furlani.
Milan are still without a senior management team in June, with supporters worried about a lack of stability from the board.
The appointment of a new head coach has been a hot topic in Rossoneri circles. AC Milan are set to hold talks with outgoing Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner on Tuesday, reports say. Calciomercato.com He confirmed that he plans to meet with Al Ahly head coach Matthias Jaisul later this week.
Glasner will be available for free as he will leave Palace when his contract expires, but Al Ahly are expected to demand around 6 million euros in compensation in order to release Jaisul, who has one year left on his contract.

Mr. Glasner and Mr. Jasul are both coaches at the Rangnick stable. Glasner first got involved in management as an assistant at RB Salzburg when Rangnick was director of football at the Red Bull Group.
Rangnick also signed young Jaisul from VfB Stuttgart in 2007 while managing TSG Hoffenheim, and the now 38-year-old also spent a short time managing feeder club FC Liefering before beginning his coaching career at RB Salzburg.
The two managers Rangnick is said to have recommended to coach Milan are Glasner and Jaisul. Milan are expected to hold talks with Rangnick in the coming days, while the German is also expected to discuss his future with the Austrian Football Association next week.

Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic is said to be backing him. Appointment of Mr. Arne Slottwas released to Liverpool at the weekend.
