Roma are under pressure ahead of their Europa League away game against Glasgow Rangers, with Artem Dovvik and Mattias Sule starting the game due to a spate of injuries.

The match will kick off at 20:00 GMT at Ibrox Stadium.

The Giallorossi have been in trouble recently, losing two of their last four Serie A games against Inter and Milan.

The situation is even more serious in Europe, where they squandered many scoring opportunities and suffered shocking defeats at home to Lille and Viktoria Plzen, so this will be a very important match.

Paulo Dybala will be sidelined for several weeks after sustaining an injury while saving a penalty from Milan’s Mike Maignan at the weekend.

Angelino, Evan Ferguson and Leon Bailey are also on the list of absentees, while Tommaso Baldanzi is ineligible.

This means Dobvik has been given a rare opportunity to lead from the front, with support from Sule and Lorenzo Pellegrini.

At least Roma are tied for second in Serie A, but Rangers are in crisis overall, having lost all three of their Europa League games.

Things have started to improve domestically since new manager Danny Rolle took over on October 20, with back-to-back wins against Kilmarnock and Hibernian, but Sunday’s Scottish League Cup semi-final against Celtic was lost in extra-time with 10 men left.

Rabbi Matondo, Dujon Sterling and Kieran Dewell are out injured.
