President Beppe Marotta admits that Simone Inzagi “wants certain things from the club” to continue his journey together in the Saudi professional league offer. “I’m optimistic because this execution isn’t over.”

Over the past few days, there have been reports that Al-Hilal is ready to provide Inzagi with a salary of 30 million euros per season to come to Saudi Arabia.

As Nerazzurri prepares for his second Champions League final in three years, questions arise as to whether he will remain at San Siro in the case of another defeat.

We are waiting for future Inzagi decisions

Inzagi mentioned the rumors at today’s press conference, and you can read his comments here, but how did Marotta respond?

“That’s a consideration that every coach has to do,” the president told Sky Sports Italy.

“He wants certain things from the club and, as we have said many times, it’s normal that we are ready to make him happy. Now, we’re all focused on historic appointments for everyone.

“I’m optimistic. I have a great relationship with Inzagi, so this run isn’t over. There’s a symbiotic relationship. I hope it continues.”

If they win the Champions League, the mood in the inters could be uplifting, but the failure means losing Scudetto to Napoli one point at a time and ending the season completely empty-handed after losing the Super Coppa Italiana final to Milan.

“We feel positive and we are proud to represent Italian football for the first time in three years,” Marotta added.

“This time, we recognize that we play a major role as our final final experience in Istanbul helped to raise our beliefs and motivation. I am optimistic that it can be a great game.”

Risks that end empty-handed

Napoli was able to focus entirely on the results of Serie A, but Inter was thinly stretched by European football and also ran in the Coppa Italia semi-finals.

“We give Naples a lot of credibility, but the fact remains playing more games than they do.

“I don’t like to look for Alivis, so I can only confirm that I am grateful for these incredible young people, coaches and clubs. I’ve had an epic night like a victory over Barcelona.”

This was Marotta’s fourth Champions League final in his career, Juventus’ first helm, then Inter, but he never won.

“It would be a great joy for me to crown this stage of my career with an honorable victory, especially as president of Intel.”
