Italian captain Gian Louis Don Narma has argued that joining Manchester City is his “first and only option” for the summer.
Donnaruma spoke to reporters on the eve of Manchester City’s Champions League debut against Napoli.
Donnarumma joined the Premier League Giants on the deadline, already earning his Premier League debut, winning 3-0 against City rival Manchester United over the weekend.
Donnarumma wanted to move to Manchester City this summer

“Thank you manager. It’s an honor and a proud to be here and have him as a coach. It’s a history of football, so I’m really excited to be here,” Donal Mama told the Manchester Evening News on Wednesday.
“I definitely have a lot to improve and I can give more, and that’s what I’m trying to do: keep improving and give my team all the effort.
“I was very clear. My wish was to come here. That was my first and only option and the only one I wanted.”
Donnarumma has remained on his contract with PSG for less than a year, joining Manchester City for 27 million euros.
Donnarumma won the Champions League at PSG last season and is aiming for the same target this semester at Etihad Stadium.
“It’s definitely one of the purposes we have. We have to dream big all the time, but we have to do it with humility. We have to think about the match after the match,” he said.
Donnarumma: Napoli is a “giant team”

“Tomorrow will be difficult. The first one in the Champions League is always the most complicated. We do that with a huge team against a huge team.
“I know Naples, the city and the coaches very well. I know that it’s a great team we’re playing against because some of my national teammates are there.”

Donnarumma joined Pep Guardiola for a pre-match press conference today.
The Manchester City boss said he was excited to meet Kevin de Bruin again a few months after his exit and a free transfer to Napoli.
Antonio Conte and Napoli players will hold a pre-match press conference in Manchester today at 8:00 CT (7:00 PM BST).
