Former Napolitan midfielder Ivanotrotta feels that Danish International not only scored his first goal after leaving Manchester United, but that Partenopey has signed a “bargain” deal with Rasmus Hozilund.
Hojlund officially joined Napoli on the deadline day as Partenopei was seeking a new centre forward after the injury to Romelu Lukaku.
Hojlund scored on his Napoli debut against Fiorentina over the weekend, and is scheduled to start on Thursday when Napoli makes his debut in Manchester City in the 2025-26 Champions League.
Napoli praised Hozilund’s move

“Hozilund is an extraordinary player. He was really impressed with Fiorentina. He has incredible qualities. €40-50m is justified as we are talking about young talent with great potential.”
“In the end, Hozilund showed himself to be a very strong footballer and things went well as they got bargains because of the price Napoli paid. In just 14 minutes he scored the goal as a pure striker.
“That goal was extremely difficult because the defender was closing, and he held his position while fully using his body and staying calm.
Ex-Napoli midfielder “Impressed” by Hojlund

“But what impressed me most was his ability to help the team get the pitch. When Napoli played quick, vertical passes, he defended the ball and the defender couldn’t get ahead of him. That’s crucial.
Defending Serie A champion Napoli has won all three opening league games this season, sharing the top spot in Serie A with Juventus.
Hojlund joined Naples on his first loan agreement with a purchase obligation.
Former Atalanta striker Dane International won 10 nets in 34 matches in all competitions against Radea in the 2022-23 season.
