Khephren Thuram insists that he doesn’t need to persuade his fellow countryman Randal Kolo Muani to stay at Juventus, but reveals he doesn’t talk much about football with his brother Marcus.
Thuram announced an interview with Gazettadero Sports after beating Al Ain 5-0 in his Juventus Scrub World Cup debut earlier this week.
“I’m so happy to be part of it (Club World Cup). It’s my first time and I’m proud to represent Italy. It’s always great to be involved in these tournaments with Juventus.
Juventus starts on his right foot and is aiming to reach the final.
Thuram will open about the Club World Cup and the NBA

“Of course we believe it, but now we have to focus on the present,” Thuram said.
“Take one game at a time. I know.”
Does the Club World Cup feel similar to other European or international competitions?
“The Champions League is different for me. I’ve never played in the World Cup, but I played in the Under21 European Championships, and I think it’s similar,” Thuram says.
“You can quickly reach the final and there’s a knockout game. And if you reach the right rhythm, you can win.”
Thuram’s brother Marcus is an interstriker who is also involved in the Club World Cup.

“We’re always talking, and he’s happy to be here too,” said the Juventus midfielder.
“He told me they were working well, but we don’t talk much about football. We mainly talk about other things.”
So, what do they argue?
“We both have passion for the NBA. The finals are ongoing.”
Which NBA teams does he support?
“In general, it’s La Lakers. But LeBron James is there. If he moves to another team, I’ll switch too. I’m a huge fan,” replied Thurlam.
Thuram doesn’t need to convince Kolo Muani to stay at Juventus

Thuram’s compatriot Kolo Muani won the brace in a victory over Juventus’ Al Ain earlier this week, but the striker is on loan from PSG and Bianconeri wants to keep him up for the 2025-26 season.
“He’s one of the best strikers in the world. He’s fast, scored goals for his team and worked hard,” Thuram concluded.
“I don’t need to convince him (to stay). This is Juventus and everyone wants to stay.”
