Luis Enrique will make sure that at least seven Paris Saint-Germain players rest and focus everything on the Champions League final to claim the trophy “we deserve to win.”
They go head-on with Nellazzuri for Munich’s silverware on May 31 after eliminating Arsenal 3-1 in the semi-finals.
Unlike Inter, PSG doesn’t have any other distractions to worry about in its build-up to that fight. Because they already won League One in plenty of time, allowing many stars to rest against the Coupede France Finals and Stade Reims on May 24th.

“We are extremely proud of what we have achieved,” the coach said at his press conference.
“We played very well throughout the year and showed mental strength, and we respect our opponents, but now we have given space to our younger players as well.
“We defined our plans based on the minutes and journeys played, so we need to balance everything to reach the two finals in the best possible form.
“Every player has his own personalized schedule because he wants to reach these games with fresh feet and hearts,” Luis Enrique was convinced.
Starting this weekend, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Willian Pacho, Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha will be able to resume training with the team on Wednesday, May 14th.
Luis Enrique admits that Inter has more experience

This was Inter’s second Champions League final in the last three years, losing 1-0 to Manchester City in Istanbul in the summer of 2023.
As for Paris Saint-Germain, it was their second final after losing to Bayern Munich in 2020, a fixture that they played during lockdown and therefore a very different experience for the supporters.
“This will be the first final for PSG fans to attend, and we deserve to win this final.
“I know that the club was founded only in 1970. This is also the year I was born, but I hope this bond with my fans will help me win the Champions League.
