Mateo Peregrino’s goal shocked Juventus, giving Igor Tudor his first defeat as Bianconeri coach.
Juventus lost 1-0 at Parma on Wednesday, losing in a scheduled Serie A fixture from Week 33.
Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani have started the Bianconeri game.
Vlahovic had one of the best chances in the game, but his close-range attempts from tight positions were wide at the nearby post.
The old lady ruled over the ownership, but was unable to break the low block of Ducari, and Pellegrino shocked the visitors with a header towering from the Emmanu Ere Valenti Cross minutes before the halftime break.
Vlahovic was covered at halftime due to a thigh injury, leaving room for Francisco’s Conceiçao.
The Portuguese were lively, but Juventus still struggled to create opportunities to collect consistent goals. Yildiz was featured in the second half, replacing USMNT International Weston McKennie.
Parma was once again dangerous in the counterattack, but the shot from Simon Sohm’s box was weak and easily saved by Michele Di Gregorio.
The same can be said for Randall Koro Muani on the other side of the field as Shion Suzuki blocked an attempt from the edge of the box.
Juventus tried to put in a few crosses in the final minutes, but Parma easily won the aerial duel. Suzuki was also confident when he got the ball.
Today’s loss left Juventus one point below fourth-placed Bologna, leaving him on the level with points against Lazio.
