Napoli caught Inter at the top of the Serie A table, so if they play with five rounds remaining, the odds of who will win the Scudetto are also neck and neck, and they are bets that they will need a playoff.
Nerazzurri stopped 1-0 at Bologna to lose to Riccardo Orsolini Scissor Kick Valley, and Napoli squeezed Rockbottom Monza 1-0 over the weekend.
That means that after 33 rounds, the two clubs are in the heat with 71 points.
The rules for the Serie mean that if a pair of sides are at the top of the table, they must enter a single playoff to determine the trophy, rather than being separated from the head by eye record or differences in goal.
This is a thrilling scenario with only five rounds left to be played this season, as Bologna was able to watch the first Scudetto playoffs since 2-0 defeating in 1964, 2-0.
Fans gather at betting sites to spend money where their mouths are, and gamble under the title of Serie
Odds. The bookmakers have Inter and Napoli on 4/5 and 5/4 respectively, so fans are clearly still undecided
Which team is most likely to thrive.
Intel was a complete favorite to win Scudetto, but that’s still true for most sites, but now it’s a very small margin.
Some betting sites even have Napoli and neck parts of the neck and neck when it comes to the title victory odds.

Partenopey, under Antonio Conte, has the advantage now, and their sole focus is on securing Serie a Triumph, and believes they can spend a week preparing for these matches.
Meanwhile, Inter has been stretched thinly, reaching the Champions League semi-finals with Barcelona in addition to the Coppa Italia semi-finals against Milan at Derby de Ramadnina.
They are the only Italian team still remaining in three tournaments at this stage of the season, and can run the second high note as they have already achieved this hat-trick silver product under Jose Mourinho in 2010.
When looking at the rest of the equipment, Simone Inzagi’s side must host Rome, Verona and Lazio, and their away games are in Turin and Como.
Naples’ run-in sees them welcoming Turin, Genoa and Cagliari and travelling to Rexe and Palma, threatened by relegation.
That’s not the end of the pressure as Inter prepares to take part in the United States’ Club World Cup in June and July.
This means that Inter is running for high notes, but even for something more meaningful.
“We’ve made another correction and we’re playing in the Club World Cup at the end of the season, so we should have said quadruple apples,” Inzagi said in March.
“The only idea in our mind is to make our fans happy by celebrating all the games. It’s not easy, but these young people have a great spirit.
Nerazzurri will visit Barcelona in the first round of the Champions League semi-finals on April 30th, and will hold the Catalans as the winners in San Siro a week later on May 6th.
