Manager Igor Tudor said Kenan Yildiz will not be rested for Juventus’ away match in Como, while Eddon Zeglova will be absent due to a hip injury.

Juventus manager Tudor previewed Sunday’s Serie A match against Como in his pre-match press conference.

This was the first match after the October international break and Juventus are still unbeaten in the 2025-26 season.

“Very few players were here (during the suspension). We gave the players a few days off because they needed to recover. McKennie arrived yesterday and everyone is back in good shape with no injuries. We trained together twice in preparation for the match,” Tudor said via Ilbianconconero.com.

“It’s a tough game. Como are a fake small team. They spent a lot of money and the manager personally selected all the players. This is rare and it’s really good. We respect them but we want to go there and play our game.”

Tudor have been using a 3-4-2-1 formation this season, but a change to the system cannot be ruled out.

“It may or may not happen. I’m not going to talk about what we’re preparing for,” he said.

He was then asked if there was a possibility of switching to a four-man defense for future games, not necessarily against Como.

“I’ve been using a 3-4-3 for many years,” Tudor replied.

“That’s what the team has been doing for a few months, but maybe we can try something different. There are problems, there are absences. All options are open.”

Juventus remain unbeaten in Serie A and the Champions League, but visit Como with five straight draws across all competitions.

“Usually people talk about Juventus, even if they’re not coaches or managers,” he said.

“That’s the beauty of football: everyone has their own idea of what is best to do, but the coach knows the players better than anyone.

“Everyone says: ‘We are Juventus, we have to win’. Yes, there is little point in arguing if we don’t win everything, but I have to state and explain my point of view. Anyone who is intellectually honest will understand. For a coach, it’s difficult. Even if we don’t win at Juve, you can say whatever you want, but it’s still wrong.”

Kenan Yildiz scored three goals in two games against the Turkish national team during the break, but when asked if the Turk could rest tomorrow, Tudor replied with a smile: “No, I can’t.”

Zeglova suffers new injury

The Juventus boss added: “He always plays with me behind the striker and has the freedom to find spaces where he feels more comfortable. He has played wide for the national team and has done well. If Yildiz is a problem, we have no problem at all. Great job by him and my staff. He has improved a lot.”

“I also make mistakes, but I analyze them together with the staff. Every day, from morning till night, I think about how to help the players, what I can produce and how to get the best out of them.”

Tudor said Fabio Miletti should return to group training on Monday, but revealed that Gieglova will not travel to Turin due to a “hip problem”.
