Juventus have announced that Damian Comolli has left the club by mutual consent and will be replaced by former Sassuolo manager Giovanni Carnevali as CEO and general manager.
Juventus have made another major change to their management team, with Carnevalli replacing French coach Comolli.
Comolli was initially appointed as the club’s general manager by the Bianconeri a year ago, before becoming CEO in November 2025.
Tensions with manager Luciano Spalletti have increased in recent months, despite him being handed a new contract until 2028 in April.
Disagreements over the transfer decision led to Komolli’s resignation, which was confirmed at an extraordinary board meeting on Friday morning.
Juventus confirmed in a statement that Comolli had left the club with mutual consent.
Comolli will be replaced by former Sassuolo manager Carnevalli, who has been Sassuolo’s CEO since 2014.
Carnevalli will become Juventus’ CEO and general manager.
Juventus will finish the 2025-26 season in 6th place and will participate in the Europa League next season.
