Hellas Verona has made Serie hopes more secure with this surprising victory.
Friulani was potentially pushing through European locations, standing with a spectacular run of four victories and two draws, including a deadlock between Naples and Lazio. Hassan Kamara was stopped and injured Florian Taubin, Razvan Saba and Isaac Tule. Helas was caught up in a ban by Nicholas Valentini, followed by Flavius Danilliuk, Casper Tengstead, Suat Serdar and Abdu Harwi.

Oumar Solet and Daniel Mosquera tested the goalkeeper early, but Thomas Kristensen risked a second yellow card in the 36 minutes due to a clumsy challenge at Domagoj Bradaric.

Shortly after the restart, Kingsley Ehijib is cut inside, with Arthur Atta and Sandy Robrick free kicks doing the same thing.
Udinese failed to make the most of both Lorenzo Lucca and Ehijib from Jordan Zemra’s cross.
However, Verona simply took the lead with a sensational free kick from Ondrej Duda, wrapping it over the wall with his right foot into a far corner.
Udinese tried to return to it, but Atta’s header was weak on the crucifix of the halt.
