Interhead coach Simone Inzagi won 2023-24 Panchina Doro in recognition of his role in the squad’s Scudetto victory last season.
Panchinca D’Oro is the annual award given to Coverciano’s best coach in Italy. Originally voted by journalists, the award is currently decided by a vote of coaches across the Italian pyramid, including all male professional leagues, Serie A and Serie B femminir, and has also been decided since 2016-17 in the men’s and women’s futsal league coaches.
The winner of the 2023-24 award was officially declared on Monday March 2025. This was Inzagi’s first victory, with Coach Inter, the first since Antonio Conte in 2020-21. The most recent inter recipient before Conte was Jose Mourinho in 2009-10.

Inzaghi won the 2023-24 award, winning the majority of 26 votes. Atalanta’s Gian Piero Gasperini came in second with 14 votes, while Vincenzo Italiano came in third with 4 votes.
Fabio Pecchia, who led Parma to the Serie B title, won the 2023-24 Panincia Dalante (silver bench), which is equivalent to his second tier coach Pancinna Doro. Paolo Vanori, who led Venice to promotion last season, came in second place. Vincenzo Vivalini, who took Catanzaro to fifth place last season, came in third.
Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti has also been recognized as a Lifetime Achievement Award. It’s a particularly special honor as there are no regular recipients. There were only five newest recipients in 2016.

Gasperini is also recognized with a “special” award that recognized Atalanta’s Europa League victory at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
