Simone Inzagi has been cautious about Lautaro Martinez’s fitness against Barcelona in the second round of Inter Milan’s Champions League semi-finals.
Nerazzurri’s coach spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia via Fcinternews ahead of the match tomorrow evening.
Inter Milan will face Barcelona tomorrow in the second round of the Champions League semi-finals.
And Nerazuri’s biggest fitness suspicions relate to the availability of Lautaro Martinez.
The Intercaptain had muscle problems during his first leg. This caused him to miss halftime.
Medical tests confirmed that Martinez had not suffered any serious muscle damage and sighed for relief. Rather, he maintained a “stretch” in his left thigh flexor.
Reports show that Martinez is currently back in training.
And there was even a story that the 27-year-old is ready to return to the beginning tomorrow evening.
However, the timeline is certainly tight. And intercoach Simone Inzagi has not made a promise.
Inzagi: “I’ll see it tomorrow” Is Lautaro Martinez worthy of Inter Milan vs Barcelona
Intercoach Inzagi spoke to Martinez and Benjamin Pavad’s fitness.
“They certainly have a huge motive,” he said. “But you need to assess how they’re doing.”
“Pabad worked with the group yesterday during training,” Inzagi continued. “And the emotions were positive.”
Lautaro then went out for a week.
“We will assess what the best decision is tomorrow,” Coach Inter revealed.
Inzagi then said Inter had “had a great ride” to advance to the Champions League semi-finals.
Coach Inter said that the second round of tomorrow’s semi-finals could be a turning point for us.
“It helped us to the finals.”
“We play it with desire, strength, aggression,” Inzagi insisted. “Components that allow you to reach an incredible final.”
“Playing in front of the fans gives us something special,” predicted the Nerazuri coach.
Inzagi reveals inter-tactics to stop Raminyarmal

Inter coach Inzagi has expressed his thoughts on how Inter would try to stop Barcelona’s dangerous Manlamin Yamal.
He said that after the first leg defended the teenagers, Inter “analysed what we could do better.”
“The ideal is for us to give such players very few reference points.”
“He’s of good quality,” Inzagi said of Yamal. “We have to do well together when we try to limit him.”
“And we know there are many other great players besides him.”
“We have to play everything together as a team,” Inzagi said. “We are against a team of great quality that owns the main features.”
“We really need to play a game that deserves Inter.”
Coach Inter also congratulated his younger brother Pippo Inzagi for leading Pisa to a historic promotion from Serie B.
“They did great things. They created masterpieces.”
“I have already congratulated them directly, but they really deserve it, so I do so publicly.”
