Simone Inzagi says Inter Milan is “trying to get everyone to the best” ahead of the Champions League final against PSG.
Nerazzurri’s coach spoke at a press conference after today’s Serie A victory over Turin, as reported by Fcinternews.
Inter Milan will face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final in Munich at the end of this month.
Nerazzurri is just under three weeks to prepare for the match right now.
Additionally, Inter will potentially play two more Serie A matches between three if there is a title playoff if they finish the level with points against Napoli.
In the meantime, Inter has missed a few players due to injuries.
Lautaro Martinez, Benjamin Pavard, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Frattesi and others are now on the sidelines.
After that, even uninjured players are almost not fresh. I’ve played Inter twice a week since the beginning of April.
During Nerazzurri’s league schedule, relationships with AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and others have been exhausted.
Inzaghi: “Inter tries to get everyone to the best” for UCL Final vs PSG
Regarding how Inter prepares, coach Simone Inzagi said, “We have to work with a smile.”
“The way we always have.”
“We’re still playing Scudetto one point at a time,” insisted the Nerazuri coach.
“I’m still trying to get all the players to the best,” he added.
“Before the PSG, there’s Lazio and Como along the way.”
Meanwhile, Inzagi praised the team’s performance against Torino. “The guys did well,” he said. “Toro is a well-organized team, so I was worried.”
“But we interpreted the match the right way,” declared Coach Inter.
Meanwhile, Inzagi also spoke about Inter’s Man of the Match performance. “He’s a quality player,” said the Nerazuli coach.
“He can play as a wingback, a box-to-box midfielder, or a second striker.”
“We missed a few players in the middle,” Inzagi said. “And we, together with the other coaching staff, thought about moving him to get him up the pitch.”
“Everyone has worked,” said Nellazuri coach. “I’m particularly thinking about Correa and Taremi who deserve a score.”
“After 120 minutes of playing on Tuesday, some players had to return to Milan.”
“But we wanted to win with the best of our efforts, and we did that.”
In the form of striker Medi Taremi, Inzagi said, “He has many physical problems, just like Correa and Zarevsky.”
“The latter had a calf problem. Same as Correa.”
Meanwhile, Inzagi said, “Taremi suffered from genitals in the first half of the season.”
“Then he returned from an international break with an injury.”
“When players have physical problems, they can’t be at their best,” added Coach Inter.
