With four American players this season being featured in Serie A, including newcomers, here are what we look forward to from them in the 2025-26 campaign.
Christian Purisic is the most notable player of Serie A’s Americans this season, and despite this term being a shortage of European football, the USMNT captain remains at Sanshiro.
The former Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund winger has never been involved in transfer negotiations this summer and is expected to play a key role this season after becoming the best Rossoneri scorer in the 2024-25 campaign under new coach Masimiliano Alegri.
Pulisic has already scored his first Serie A goal and has come as a replacement for his away game at Lecce.
Given the Coppa Italia match against Bali in August, Captain America has already won the net twice in his three appearances from 2025 to 26.
The rise of the American star in Italy has made Serie even more attractive overseas, as Texas sportsbooks prove.
McKenny’s future for Juventus is uncertain

Another USMNT star Timothy Weir left Serie a Giants Juventus to join Marseille during the summer transfer period. Even if his former teammate Weston McKenney stays in Turin, his future will have to be monitored in the coming months.
McKenney has played in two alternatives so far this season, and his future with the club remains uncertain as his contract expires in 2026.
As reported by Soccer Italy in July, talks between the parties have been stagnant due to a large gap between offers and demand from the point of view of the agent commission.
Yunus Musa changed clubs in the summer, but remained in the Lombardy area and traded Milan for Atalanta.
Two transfers on the deadline

The USMNT midfielder also attracted interest from Naples and Nottingham Forest in the summer, but eventually joined Radea on the deadline.
Under new coach Ivan Jurik, Musa can play in a variety of roles, from the middle midfielder to the right wingback. He’s unlikely to become a regular starter for Bergamo, but the 22-year-old has plenty of opportunities to show his worth as he is one of the four Serie A national teams in the Champions League.
Last but not least, new Palma midfielder Benja Kremaski joined Ducari on loan from Intermiami.
It is the first time that Cremasi (20) has left the US, but he will need to quickly adapt to convince Parma to pay 4.5 million euros in 2026 to make his move permanent.
Clemashi can play as a middle midfielder or right-wing back, and like Musa, he will complete his transfer on the deadline and boost Carlos Questa’s options in the middle of the season when Palma is expected to fight for survival.
