Dusan Vlahovic felt a “huge change” in Juventus’ game against Real Madrid and was relieved despite the 1-0 defeat. “We have to have this mentality in every game.”
Juve’s camp was already in a dark mood, having failed to win for a month with only five consecutive draws and a 2-0 defeat against Como.
Their performance at the Bernabéu was probably better than most expected, creating several chances to score, but conceding too many goals and ultimately being canceled out by Jude Bellingham’s tap-in, who saw Vinicius’ diagonal drive bounce off the upright.
Vlahovic expects Juventus to improve

“I saw a big change from the game against Como and many other performances this season,” Vlahovic told Sky Sports Italia.
“After that game we talked and agreed that we have to have this mentality in every game, whether it’s against Real Madrid or, with all due respect, against Como. We have to have the same mentality and humility. That’s how you get results.”
“It is impossible for a club of such importance to make such changes from game to game, because at the weekend we were not at the level of Juventus. I don’t want to say anything bad that could be misunderstood, but the performance was not at the level of Juventus.”
“We leave here with a defeat, but the performance was much better. We now have to focus on Lazio, another very difficult away game.”

Juventus are now without a win in seven games in all competitions, their longest streak since eight games between April and May 2009.
“We have to work hard and talk every day. I think everyone is giving 100 percent, but it’s not enough. We have to talk about this situation every day. That’s the only way to grow. Otherwise we’ll go back to the usual ups and downs. We all know we have to raise the level,” Blachowicz added.
The Serbian returned to the starting XI tonight, but is he looking for more stability in the squad?
“As I said three months ago, the coach has decided that I will be at the discretion of the club and will do my best and do what is asked of me.”
