Max Alegri explains the tactical change when Milan defeated Lexe 2-0, but he still doesn’t know how to use Christopher Nukank and admits he “didn’t want to know” about Santiago Guimenez and Yunus Musa’s transfer.

“We needed a victory to move up the table, but we also needed to cancel the defeat to Cremonese. There we paid a heavy price for a mistake. We need to score points on the pitch. We won’t win just because we’re wearing a Milan jersey.
Allegri is unclear about the future of Milan players
Meanwhile, Nkunku was bought today from Chelsea to achieve a bonus of €5 million plus €37 million, but Allegri fully acknowledges that he still has no plans to fit tactically.
“I don’t know how you can use Nkunku, but he certainly has a lot of quality. We have attacking players with quality. The key is finding balance in our team.”
Allegri changed his tactical system to 3-5-2 tonight, but it was almost 3-6-1 as the Alexis Saelemaekers fell deep to protect Pervis Estupinan.
“In front of two players, I preferred to put extra bodies in the middle. This way we balance more and more than anything else, we have to try and find confidence.
Milan is definitely a work in progress. In the second week of the Serie A season, it may not necessarily be part of the team tomorrow that the Sport Igli Tare director has been confirmed before kickoff.
Atalanta has agreed with Musa, which was held on hold after Aldon Jashali’s injury, but Gimenez was able to go to Rome in exchange for loan with Artem Dovic.
“We didn’t discuss the issues of Gimenez or Musa as there were very important matches to focus on. We didn’t want to know anything about the transfer market in that situation, so last week had already had a bit of trouble, so it was best for the team to focus on the game,” Allegri argued.
“The club will make the decisions in the best possible way to ensure that Milan will once again become competitive tomorrow. These players are working well together and we need more of these performances.”
