Francesco Aserbi reveals how Inter reacted in the locker room after a 5-0 final Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. “We felt like we could win, but that was almost the moment it started.”
Nerazzurri took part in his second Champions League final in just three years. This is an incredible achievement on the part that is put together on a very limited budget compared to many opponents.
He was very confident as he eliminated Bayern Munich and Barcelona along the way, but Acerbi admitted that it might have been a problem in the end.
Acerbi had great hopes for the Champions League final

“After the match, we looked at each other and we weren’t mad because there were very few moments when it started,” the defender told Sky Sports Italia.
“I saw mental fatigue. I used up so much mental energy along the way. A week after Scudetto was decided, after beating Bayern Munich and Barcelona, we felt we could really win. Many people said we were our favorites.
“We were empty at the end of the season, and although PSG was very well prepared, we played the perfect game. We couldn’t do much about it. If we were back when we were 2-0 down, it might have changed, but it wasn’t 100% that night.”

The Champions League had been a thrilling journey up until then, but more than anything, the 3-3 chaotic pair had a charm with Barcelona in the semi-finals, and was ultimately decided with an extra time.
It was Aservi’s goal to force extra time in that second leg of Sanshiro, scoring in boots with holes there.
But he assures that this is not a matter of any kind of emotion or superstition, but rather a matter of comfort.
“I had badly damaged toes so I drilled a hole in my boots. It’s black with all the bruises and hurts. So I cut a hole in it to give it to more rooms, I started it in November.
“I’ve always been feeling pain in my boots, but if they’re comfortable, it’s more important than looking good. I’m always playing in any state,” Aselvi revealed.

The 37-year-old is still strong, but this is even more surprising given that he has fought cancer twice.
“I got football rebirth after I was sick. It wasn’t easy, but it’s a place where you learn to deal with things bigger than you, accept them, and find positives. Living a healthy life isn’t just about sleeping early or not drinking wine.
“I’m not looking for Alivis because they suck you into this negative vortex and it’s hard to get out. We have to constantly look inside ourselves and try to improve.”
