BERGAMO, ITALY – OCTOBER 22: Atalanta BC’s Ademola Lookman takes a shot under pressure from Slavia Prague’s David Moses during the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 League Phase MD3 match between Atalanta BC and SK Slavia Prague at Stadio di Bergamo on October 22, 2025 in Bergamo, Italy. Atalanta squandered an incredible number of chances in a disappointing 0-0 Champions League defeat to Slavia Prague, ending up in yet another stalemate.
La Dea lost just one game all season, losing 4-0 to Paris Saint-Germain, and here they beat Club Brugge 2-1, putting them on the right track in Europe. The injury crisis was beginning to subside, with only Giorgio Scalvini, Sead Kolasinac and Mitchell Bakker sidelined, as Ademola Lookman made his second start since the summer transfer revolt. Slavia Prague were without Igo Ogbu, Petr Sevcik, Dominik Jaworček, Filip Horski, David Dudela and Jindrich Stanek after their 3-0 loss to Inter.
See how it all unfolded in our live blog.

Thomas Chorley’s diagonal drive almost caused an upset in the opening minutes, but Atalanta grabbed a double chance when Markovic refused his first one-on-one with Odilon Kosounou, before rising and firing home Charles de Quetelaere in the top corner.
Nikola Krstovic should have scored two goals in five minutes. First, he slid in to David Zappacosta’s assist from six yards out, and the goalkeeper and David Zima combined to deny him a tap-in. Immediately afterwards, after some great work from De Quetelaere, he jumped over the bar and started rolling.

Chorley also failed to make the most of a promising counterattack, with Lookman’s shot deflecting wide and De Quetelaele’s curler missing inches wide.
Atalanta have continued to struggle to convert chances this season, with Lookman and Ederson failing to find the backs, but Slavia Prague were able to threaten in first-half stoppage time when David Moses forced a one-handed save from Marco Carnesecchi.
Carnesecchi also had his glove stung by Provod’s free kick, and Kusesi’s bold volley went wide of the target.

Kamarudeen Slemana created more wasted chances by clearing De Ketelaele’s pass, but his first touch was too heavy and everything was ruined.
The game remained wide open and Sadilek fired from the edge of the box before the returning Gianluca Scamacca headed in a free from six yards out on Nikola Zalewski’s cross.
Scamacca also forced off a tough save from Markovic near the top corner with a powerful strike.
