Atalanta had to come from behind via Lazaru Samarzic and Mario Pasaric to claim their first Champions League victory of the season, beating Club Bruges 2-1 at New Balance Arena on Tuesday night.

Isaac Hien, Giorgio Scalvini, or Seed Korasinac, hadn’t even raised the pitch further in the defense of La Dia, while Charles de Queteraère, Gianluca Scamacca and Nicola Zarewski.

But that meant Ademola Lookman has been called to the starting lineup For the first time this season, it follows his attempt to leave the club during the summer transfer period. It also had the initial start of Brazilian midfielder Ederson’s campaign.

You can see how the action unfolded on the Italian football live blog.

Atalanta threatened him early through Lorenzo Bernasconi. He thundered a wide, violent volley of targets from 25 yards in less than four minutes.

Aedason, Lookman and Mario Pasaric all did their best to get Atalanta ahead, but it was the visitors who claimed the first half lead.

Carlos Forbe capitalized when Marten de Loon gave up on his possessions halfway through his own half. The Portuguese played for Nicolo Tresordi, who slipped it into Tuzolis at the edge of the region where he was able to bend past Marco Carnesecchi 1-0.

Atalanta had to wait until the final 20 minutes to find the equalizer. The Nordin Jackers did brilliantly to stop Musa while charging into the region, but the Bruges goalkeeper voted and defeated Mario Pasalic in a follow-up.

Samardzic stepped up to convert the penalty just inside the correct post to level, which was his first competitive goal of the year.

Afterwards, leaving three minutes of normal time, Pasaric stole the lead with a well-placed header from Samarzic’s corner delivery, plunging New Balance Arena into a frenzy.

Atalanta, who was eliminated by Club Bruges in the Champions League playoff round last season, has missed the mark with his first European victory this season.
