Intercoach Chib warns his players that he doesn’t want to see “selfish,” and Andy Diuff feels “more involved” and “trained well.”
Intercoach Chib previewed upcoming matches against Serie Cremonese at a press conference on Friday.
The Nerazzurri boss hinted that he had actually decided to replace the injured Marcus Thuram, but refused to reveal whether Yann Sommer and Josep Martinez would start at goal.
Chivu: “No Rules” for Goalkeeper Rotation

“There’s no rule that Champions League goalkeepers and leagues have to have goalkeepers. They have to give them a chance based on my feelings,” he said.
“What I don’t want is the selfishness of the team. I was very clear about it. I want everyone to understand the importance of each player. There’s nothing to who will play tomorrow, but players need to feel responsible.

The new signature Diouf has only made one alternative appearance this season so far, so how is he calming down?
“He was the last person to arrive. He needs time,” Chive explained.
“I rewarded him with the first match he just arrived the day before because there are no fixed rules. He trains well. I see a lot of growth compared to when he first came. He was a little shy.
Chivu: “There is no selfishness”

Speaking to the midfielder, Chiv was asked if he expected more goals from anyone playing in the middle of the park.
“We’re not happy with anything. We’re hoping that our team will win, stepping on the pitch with proper mentality and determination, and trying to be the best version of itself,” he replied.
“We must not forget that they need to enjoy themselves. I don’t care who gets the score. I care who will help, who will sacrifice themselves and who will show that self-interest does not exist.”
