The Janluca Rocchi tribe, the judge, has confirmed that there are “two fundamental errors” by the VAR in handling penalties that were cancelled during the victory at Serie a Bologna in Milan.
The incident sparked a major controversy, seeing coach Max Allegri leave for insulting the fourth official, which earned him a one-game touchline ban.
Rossonelli kept the result 1-0, but was furious when Christopher Nukank fell under a push from John Lukmi.
Var called Marcenaro to the monitor, showing only the second incident and urged him to cancel the spot kick.
Milan vs Bologna penalty incident had a double var error

“This is a complicated case,” explained Rocchi, a judge on Dazn’s Open VAR program.
“I’m going to start from the penultimate and start saying it’s correct to cancel the penalty for the second contact. Here are two basic errors. The officials didn’t consider the first contact a penalty, but that’s absolutely true.
“The second challenge is not a foul as the Bologna player’s feet are on the ground. VAR was a little too strong for this. Before sending the referee to the monitor, we ask VAR to do the exact explanation, but the final decision ultimately belongs to the referee rather than the VAR.
“In this case, the decision was wrong, whereas both the Field judge and the Var did not think it was reevaluated or deserved a penalty.”

So, what must have happened in Sanshiro to make this fit the vision of the AIA (Article of the Italian Judgment)?
“The judge should have blown whi for Lukumi and Nukank’s first contact, because if that error occurs Val remembers him to show full action, and the judge has the right to see both cases,” explained Locki.
“The right decision was to award a penalty for the first foul.”
As Allegri was sent for letting out his anger over this error, should it be cancelled?
“Even if there are errors, our coaches have asked for collaboration. We are open to acknowledging the errors. We sought respect.
“I work together, but we need two things to work together, so we can’t do it one-sided. When actions are not fair, it becomes serious.”
