De Bruyne on the Napoli Trophy Ambition and Guardiola vs. Conte
In a detailed interview with Corriere Dello Sport released Wednesday morning, De Bruyne outlined the differences between Guardiola and Conte’s two best coaches of this generation.
“I think they have two different ways of playing. PEP is probably a little more attentive to controlling and owning the ball, but Conte is a little more structured in the game and has a lot more focus on mentality.

“There are a few different things, but each coach has its own principles and characteristics.
“At this point, we’re not focused much on the personal side. We’re working for the team. He gives us collective directions to everyone’s positions. We’ll probably talk about something more specific.”
The Belgian star also described the trophy he most wants to win in his time with Naples.
“It’s probably Scudetto, but I never want to choose. I take anything I can win. But I’ve never played in Italy, but the league championship is a good goal. It’s very cool. But it’s not yet started.”

And if he had to choose one from the Champions League, Serie A Title, or Coppa Italia, de Bruin replied, “All three will not be decided.”
Does De Bruyne feel Naples are competitive in all three sports?
“It’s hard to say we win everything because there are so many competitions. In fact, I can’t say that. You have to start playing.

“We want to finish as high as possible in all respects, but it depends on a lot of circumstances, including enemies, injuries, and other factors. It’s based on what happened during that time at the end of the season.”
The sixth Premier League winner was also asked, who thinks they can challenge Napoli for Scudetto this season. “Well, Inter and Milan are always there. Atalanta, Atalanta is working well. Rome and Lazio also have good groups. There are lots of really strong teams.”
