Inter Milan coach Simone Inzagi hopes Denzel Dumfries, Piotr Zielinski and Marcus Thurham will soon return from injuries.
Nerazzurri’s coach spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia via Fcinternews. He also thought about tonight’s clash with Serie a Bologne.
Inter Milan doesn’t have three players in total in tonight’s match against Bologna.
Wingback Denzel Dumfries and midfielder Piotr Zielinski have both been out since their international break.
Dumfries is struggling with thigh tension, which was starting before the break. Meanwhile, Zielinski is recovering from a permanent calf problem picked up in a Serie A collision with Monza.
Additionally, Marcus Thurham joined the injury list yesterday.
The Frenchman played all 90 minutes of the second round of Inter’s Champions League quarterfinals against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
But the effort hit Marcus Thurlam. He suffers from muscle fatigue on his left thigh.
Inzagi is looking forward to Dumfries, Zielinsky and Salam soon
“We hope that Zielinsky and Dumfries will return as soon as possible,” Inter Milan coach Simone Inzagi explained.
“And I don’t think Thuram will be coming out for long,” he added.
“(Dumfries and Zielinski) had some major injuries,” pointed out coach Nerazzurri. “They’ve been going on for a while.”
“But they’re recovering. They should be ready to go back and play with us next week.”

Inzagi then pointed out that “therm had muscle fatigue.”
“That ruled him out today, and I think Wednesday (against Coppa Italia’s AC Milan) is too early.”
“But we hope to get back all three of them,” Inzagi said.
Meanwhile, Inzagi said Inter had “right enthusiasm” for Bologna.
“We compete against a great team in the top form. They are well coached and are only lost at home against Bologna when they’re 10.”
“We need to play together like a top team,” Coach Inter emphasized.
Inzagi on lack of squad rotation: “I tried to change it as much as possible.”

Inzagi then explained why they only changed two from a team facing Bayern Munich in the middle of the week to a starting eleven.
“I made my choice,” Inter said. “As usual.”
“We tried to understand the kind of game we’re playing.”
Inzagi admitted, “I tried to reduce it as much as possible.”
“I have the utmost confidence in the players I’ve started,” he added.
Inzagi then revealed how important today’s match against Bologna is. He agreed to President Nerazzurri Beppe Marotta.
Inzagi told Dazen via fcinternews that “all matches matter.”
“Our president said it very right (the Bologna match is the most important way this year).
“I agree with him,” Inzagi said. “But at the same time, we have to think about a lot of things about every game we are coming.
“Our focus is on Bologna,” Inzagi revealed.
“We’re against teams that are good shapes, so we have to be offensive and decide. We’re a team with excellent principles of how we play.”
