Francesco pio esposito first inter milan season: "dream come true"

Inter Milan’s genius Francesco Pio Esposito is excited to play for Nerazuri this season.

In his latest interview via Fcinternews, the 20-year-old striker was opened up about his feelings about staying at San Siro.

Francesco Pio Esposito enjoyed an incredible breakout season at Spezia last year.

Certainly, with 18 league goals, he was the second-best goalscorer in Serie B, and he elicited many inquiries along the way.

Napoli tried to sign him at the summer transfer window, but Christian Chibb blocked the sale.

Recognizing the potential of the youth, the new Nerazzurri boss has decided to keep him in Milan this season.

Additionally, Esposito is making his Italian debut in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

New head coach Gennaro Gatuso handed him a senior call-up for his maiden to Azlily.

With Italy taking on Estonia and Israel, it’s reasonable to expect Esposito to get a few minutes on the pitch.

“Everything is definitely happening very quickly,” admitted Esposito. “I am so happy to be here for my first call, and that is an incredible feeling.

“When it comes to my inter debut, I need to be very balanced, and this is a very positive moment.

“But in football, everything can change very quickly and balance is essential.”

Meanwhile, he knows he will have to fight against Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thurlam to start the Bath at Inter.

“It’s not about fighting for the universe, but rather, it’s one of the strongest advances, so I always want to learn something from them.

“For me, it’s an opportunity.

“Lautaro, his hunger, his ferocity. He always gives 100% even in training.

“From Marcus, the simplicity of what he is doing, to take on his man.”

When asked what his brother, Salvatore, had said to him after receiving his first Italian call, Esposito replied.

“Two years after together, I had to stay aside at the best possible moment due to the Spezia-Cremonese injury.

“I was really disappointed because I had to bow when things went well.

“If I am lucky enough to be with you, I will try to talk about football as much as I can.

“When I met Sebasciano at the Club World Cup this summer, I compared myself as much as possible.”

He then finished talking about Italy’s potential debut and the season with Inter.

“The coach is right. I don’t know if he’s ready until we try it, but we’re here to do our best,” Esposito added.

“There was talk about me all summer in the market, but there was no doubt about me staying at Intel.

“I didn’t want to go anywhere else. Inter had a dream come true, and the coach wanted to protect me. There was no doubt.”
