Atalanta head coach Giampierogas Perini will meet with senior management at the club on Tuesday to discuss his future in Bergamo.
Gasperini still has a contract with Atalanta until the summer of 2026, but over the 2024-25 season he dropped some hints that his time with Radea is coming to an end.
“At the end of the season, we’ll see if we’ll run out of contracts or stop early.” Gasperini said in Februarymeanwhile CEO Luca Percassi added The club should “respect his decisions” in either way.
Despite previous hints about Atalanta’s possible farewell and the connections to the move to take over from Cliolanieri as Rome’s head coach, Gasperini will be discussing Percussi with his future on Tuesday, along with co-chair Stephen Pagliuca and sports director Tony Doaymiko.

Report from Calciomercato.com The Atalanta management claims it has given Gasperini the opportunity to extend the contract for another 12 months until the summer of 2027.
According to a report on Tuesday, Atalanta executives argue that they need to provide certain guarantees to Gasperini, particularly in the transfer market.
Gasperini recently warned: “For the first time in nine years, I find it extremely difficult to repeat myself.
“A result that looks normal like Champions League qualifiers will be complicated, and this is something we need to discuss,” the head coach warned.
Calciomercato argues that Gaspelini is aware of the fact that Atalanta may have to let go of some of the key players during the summer transfer period.

There are also concerns about the defense division next season, given the long-term absences of Giorgio Scarbini and Seed Corasinac, farewell to Rafael Troy and the possibility that Odilon Cossounow and Stephen Posti’s loan deal purchase options have not been activated.
