Inter Milan star wingback Federi Codi Marco admits that his recent form has not been able to meet his high standards.
At today’s pre-match meeting via Fcinternews, Dimarco also previewed tomorrow’s clash with Slavia Prague.
Federico Dimarco is coming and going to the starting lineup at the start of the new season.
In fact, the 27-year-old has often traded places with Carlos Augusto, who is in the sublime shape.
But new manager Christian Chib sees the Italian ace as a key figure in the system.
Meanwhile, DiMarco came out of the bench against Cagliari last weekend and tipped with a key assist.
He set up Francesco Pio Esposito on second goal at Unipol Domus and scored a knockout blow to Cagliari.
So he will probably regain his place with the wings tomorrow when Inter rides Slavia Prague in the Champions League.
Despite his status as an Inter pre-match favorite, he expects the Czech champions to run to Nerazuri for their money.
Inter Milan Star Federico Di Marco on Slavia Prague Clash
“Inter arrived in good form and I think we’ve won three times in a row,” admitted DiMarco. “We need to aim for the fourth.
“Personally, I am regaining the confidence I lost recently, and through matches and training, I am trying to improve the situation.
“We’re always talking about the past. When we beat Scudetto, we said we shouldn’t stick to the past anymore, so we need to maintain that mindset.
“We started off well with Ajax, and we have to continue like that.”
Additionally, Inter has been undefeated in Sanshiro, the Champions League for almost three years.
“We always try to approach every game the same way, but the Champions League is different,” DiMarco said.
“It’s much more difficult. You’re faced with a world-class quality team, and when we slipped, it’s because we looked too far.
“By one game at a time, we achieved great results and we have to keep doing that.”
He then warned via against underestimating Slavia.
“We shouldn’t underestimate the other person,” he said. “Slavia is strong and has been a league winner for many years.
“They defend one-on-one, so we need to be smart to break through their press.”
Renewed confidence, Christian Chibb, new signature

DiMarco was not at his best early in the season. However, he is steadily gaining sharpness and confidence.
“I didn’t say I wasn’t completely lacking in confidence,” he added. “I said I’m a bit more confident on a personal level.
“Then I realized I hadn’t played for the last three and a half years. Now with the help of my coach and my teammates, I’m coming out of it.”
Meanwhile, he has given his verdict on the beginning of Civ’s administration at Giuseppe Meazza.
“You can really train for the game by playing them,” DiMarco said. “The more you play, the better your condition will be.
“As I’ve been saying for many years, when I was leaving at 60 minutes it was mathematically impossible to grow to peak.
“I’m improving because I’ve been playing more time this year.
“We’re trying to play more vertically, but we’re not losing the foundation we’ve had in the past.”
Inter worked well against Cagliari. This will help you recover your confidence.
“I agree, we played a great game with Cagliari. “But we’ve had great games before, like with Juventus, so you don’t have to start from there.
“We didn’t win, but we played at a level we hadn’t reached in Turin in years. We need to continue like this.”
Finally, he acknowledged that the new signature was already adapted to the new environment.
“All new signatures are settling smoothly,” he insisted. “We brought in high quality players who will help us all throughout the season.
“But more than anything, I want to emphasize that they are great men. Even if they don’t start right away, they’re still giving everything for the team.
“Intel is on a good level right now, but we can always improve.”
