Former Parma manager Giuseppe Iachini has hailed Inter Milan star Ange-Yohan Bonny as a future champion.
In a recent interview with FCInterNews, Iachini pushed the 22-year-old to become one of the best strikers in the world.
Beppe Iachini coached Ange-Yohan Bony at Parma during the 2021/22 Serie B season.
In fact, he started the French player’s career with Ennio Tardini long before Cristian Chivu discovered the youngster’s talent.
In fact, Parma acquired Bony from Chateauroux in the summer of 2021, with Iachini on the bench.
Although he failed to score in his first season at Emilia Romagna, Bony showed glimpses of his potential.
However, he played on the big stage last season and persuaded Inter to lure him to the San Siro for 25 million euros.
Furthermore, he repaid the club’s trust in him during the early stages of the 2025/26 season.
With four goals and one assist, he emerged as the best reserve striker in Serie A.
Beppe Iachini waxes lyrical about Inter Milan ace Bony
“I believed that Bony would do a great job at Inter,” Iachini said. “He impressed me right away so I introduced him to Serie B at Parma when he was only 18.
“Ange feels and sees goals like almost everyone else.
“That’s why I was convinced he would have a great career and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him even more decisive at Inter than he was at Parma.
“When the quality around him improves, he performs even better and performs at a higher level.
“That’s why he makes such a difference now compared to when he was playing for a team that was fighting to avoid relegation.”
When asked whether Bony is better as a centre-forward or a second striker, Iachini replied:
“In the box, he has the physical presence to lead the line on his own and the composure to take chances.
“But at the same time, his speed and one-on-one ability allows him to develop alongside other strikers.
“Kivu will decide how to use him game by game. Let me just say this: The closer Bony gets to the goal, the more deadly he becomes.”
Iachini also described Bonnie as “a great kid full of humility and a strong work ethic.”
“He was always training at maximum intensity to improve himself,” he added. “Ange is not only talented, he has the right mentality to be a champion.
“After every training session, he stayed on the pitch for at least 30 minutes to work on his attacking moves and improve his finishing coordination.
“Not everyone does that.”
Iachini praises Inter Milan target Adrian Bernabe

Adrian Bernabé has been on the radar of Inter for over a year, but the Nerazzurri have never had any formal contact with Parma.
However, the young playmaker could be an exciting option for the club in the future.
“In terms of characteristics, Bernabé would be the perfect replacement for Çalhanoglu for Inter,” Yaakini said.
“There are very few players who have as clean a technique and quality of the ball as he does. He is a crystalline talent who has everything to be a top player technically.”
“He came from Manchester City as an attacking midfielder, but I moved him to the front of the defence, where he can really excel.”
Finally, Iachini named Inter as the favorites to win this season’s Scudetto.
But he urged the Nerazzurri not to take anything for granted, especially with AC Milan in contention to win their 20th league title.
Without European football getting in the way, the Rossoneri could be a real threat to Inter’s title bid.
“I think Inter because of the way they play and the depth of the team,” Iachini said. “But be careful with Milan.
“Not taking part in European competitions will ultimately be a big advantage for Allegri.”
