Beppe Marotta says winning the Champions League at Inter Milan is a “dream” and Simone Inzagi’s new contract is “format.”
Nerazzurri’s president expressed his thoughts in an interview with Sky Sport Italia via Fcinternews. He also thought about Captain Lautaro Martinez’s match against Bologna this weekend.
Inter Milan took a big step in this week’s Champions League.
Nerazzurri received a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the competition.
This was just as good as a victory for Inter. They protected a 2-1 advantage from the first war of the tie.
Therefore, Inter will face Barcelona in the semi-finals.
Then, if Nerazzuri reaches the final, they will face either Paris Saint-Germain or Arsenal.
Marotta: “Winning the Champions League against Inter Milan”
President Marotta Analysed, “Clearly, winning the Champions League is probably the only thing I lack in my career.”
“So that would be very satisfying for me.”
“I think that’s a dream,” Marotta said of the glory of Europe. “But our dreams come true, so we have to believe them.”
“But I’m sure this team can make us happy. We certainly won’t start off at a disadvantage against Barcelona.”
Marotta reveals – “form” with Inzagi contract expansion

Marotta then confidently predicted that Simone Inzagi would sign a new contract with Intel, the “format.”
“He still has another year left on his contract,” President Inter pointed out. “But from here on, my mentality is that it’s correct that the coach hasn’t signed an expired contract.”
“So we’ll certainly sit with him and settle the new contract.”
“But I’m sure it will be a quick and comfortable meeting,” said Nerazzuri’s president. “Like it was in the past.”
“We’ll calmly find an agreement.”
Lautaro Martinez Contract Expansion Key Recent Forms

Marotta also expressed the view that the extension of the Captain Lautaro Martinez contract last summer is a key component of Argentina’s recent form.
“The contract he signed, more than anything, sealed the relationship between the club and the player based on a strong sense of problem,” President Inter said.
“It’s sealed away by the fact that he is our captain. So he needs to have even greater qualities than his teammates.”
“I believe he’s grown,” Marotta said of Lautaro Martinez. “And not just as a soccer player.”
“As someone who has the opportunity to meet him every day, I can say he’s grown as a man, and today he’s a real leader.”
“He’s an exponential growth, not forgetting the other players.”
Beppe Marotta – “Inzagi is the winner”

Marotta gave more thoughts about Inter’s coach. “I still consider Inzagi a young coach,” said the Nerazzuri president.
“But he accumulates a lot of value and qualities within himself.”
These include “being a winner, or at least always wanting to win.”
“And this certainly puts him in a key role. He’s a good coach not only from a tactical perspective, but also from a preparation perspective.”
“He’s equally good at managing groups that he’s been with for several years,” Marotta praised Inzagi.
“And that has grown over the last few years. It has gained a different mentality compared to the beginning.”
President Intel said this was “the result of their experiences, including defeat.”
“But I believe this group has seized an opportunity to grow from the losses.”
Marotta – “The most important Bologna match of the year”

Meanwhile, President Marotta-Tai thought about the clash between Serie and Bologna this Sunday.
He claimed that the Serie A season is “at a point where they still exist with one another.”
“There are still a lot of points left, so anything can happen.”
“But that’s still going to be a basic match for us,” Marotta said of playing against Bologna this weekend.
“We’re probably playing against a team that’s currently the form team in Serie A.”
“We are recovering from a huge amount of psychological and physical stress,” continued Marotta.
“It’s because getting into the semi-final against Bayern is a huge sacrifice.”
“And it’s an immeasurable self-denial when it comes to the whole team and the coaching aspect.”
“But we have to be champions to the end,” Marotta insisted.
“And I know this role means that we have to outperform ourselves by taking on quality teams in a variety of competitions, from one day to the next.”
“Bologna is certainly one of those teams, so we have to start with that idea.”
Marotta – “Don’t choose between Serie A and Champions League”

And by balancing the various competitions, Marotta said, “We’re an inter.”
“There’s history behind us, and there’s a long list of successes in all competitions today.”
“So it’s imperative that we try to get into these competitions and win.”
“And even now, we’re just still halfway between them.”
“On Sunday, if you go from one competition to another, there’s another match in Bologna,” Marotta said.
“In my opinion, it will be the most important game of the year for us, for a team that we consider to be equally important to us.”
“We play for a part of the title,” Marotta said. “But Inter is used to this.
“They need to get even more used to playing every three days in this level of competition.”
Marotta: “No matter what happens, Inter season has been positive so far.”

Beppe Marotta, president of Inter Milan, is called to be in the Champions Regus semi-finals.
He argued that Simone Inzagi “deserves great credibility in this outcome.”
“And that’s a great source of pride for the team.”
“So this is a particularly happy moment for us,” Marotta said. “But that’s not the end of the journey, we’re still fighting in three competitions.”
However, the President of Nerazuli argued, “regardless of what the end result is, I think it should be considered a very positive season.”
“It’s a continuation of a journey that began a few years ago and is therefore a cycle,” Intel added.
“More than anything, the cycle continues with Inzagi’s arrival, and he has created us more than ever before in the top teams of European competition.
“And we are at the top of Italy too. So I think this season should be considered positively.”
