Simone Inzagi is seeking revenge against Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-finals on Wednesday night, failing to beat Rossoneri in any of the three meetings this season, explaining what Nerasli will need to do to put one foot in the final in May.
Inter and Milan will meet again for the fourth time in 2024-25 for the first round of the Coppa Italia semi-finals held in San Silo on Wednesday night. The second leg will be played on April 24th, with the final winner facing either Empori or Bologna in the final.
“We know the importance of tomorrow’s match. It’s the Coppa Italia semi-final against Milan. It’s the derby. There’s a desire to play a good game.

“We know this year, especially with the first one, this year, and the other two are more balanced and determined by events in the game. Tomorrow will be fourth, fifth, and usually two.”
Inzaghi offers updated Inter Diritical
Inzaghi continued to provide updates on the current situation of Nerazzurri’s injuries. Both Lautaro Martinez and Mehdi Taremi have been excluded, with three senior strikers available. The coach confirmed that there was a Primavera attacker on Wednesday.
Alessandro Bastoni is expected to return, but otherwise the coach would not want to give too much about his starting lineup.
“We can’t help you with the lineup. We’ve chosen a goalkeeper, but we haven’t told the players yet. We want to tell that first. There’s no Aslani. Bastoni needs to rate de vrij.

“We didn’t need the setback that Taremi had. We played the second Hame on his national team. We’ll have to play three strikers tomorrow, without Lautaro.
Asked if there were plans for Lautaro Martinez, who remained injured, Inzagi replied. “We have to watch every day to make him available in Parma on Saturday.
Inzagi at Intermilan Conference, 2024-25 Review, LEAO Threat
How did Inzagi see 2024-25?
“The goal was to take part in all the competitions in April. We know that the difficult parts aren’t coming yet, but it’s a great source of pride that we still have at every competition. It takes a lot of physical and mental energy, but that’s what we wanted. Every game is important.”

Inzagi has evaluated the previous Inter meeting with Milan this season. “I know that it’s a challenge to have more than 180 minutes of events, not a league match, but at the end of April, there’s a second leg.
“We’ve been working on alternating things against Milan. We had a great first half in Riyadh and the second one wasn’t very dressed. We didn’t approach it well in the league, but the second half was great.”
Inzagi was reviewed in Milan this season. Milan has achieved impressive victories at Inter and Real Madrid this season, but is now in the ninth place in Serie A.
“I start with the assumption that they are a strong, high-quality team and can plague any opponent. We saw them in their final game, the Derby against us, the match against Real Madrid. They have had difficult moments this season, but they worry a lot of teams in their individual games.
And when asked how important player Rafael Leo was to his opponent, Inzagi replied. “He’s a great player. We’ve been facing him for many years. He has a lot of quality, but I don’t think we can stop alone with Leo, but Milan is always able to solve the problem for you.”
