Lautaro Martinez argues that when the two teams meet in the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday night, Barcelona must “respect” the achievements and aggression that advances Laminyarmal, but Captain Nerazuri argues there is a “comparison” between the teenage sense and the former Barcuster Lionel Messi.

Lautaro Martinez and his inter-co-workers have arrived in Barcelona ahead of the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals, starting Wednesday night at 20.00 BST. The two teams will meet again next Tuesday for a reverse fixture in San Siro.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference on Tuesday evening, Lautaro analyzed last week’s inter tough, analysing the talent behind three consecutive losses, as well as the talent of Raminyarmal and his own candidacy for Ballon d’Or.

The Nerazzurri skipper has continued his analysis of Inter’s success over the past few seasons.

“We’re doing a lot in this honorable competition. We want to work hard and dream of our fans of another Champions League final. We’re focused on facing great rivals.

“Obviously, things can happen at this stage of the season. We did a great job until last week. We haven’t lost for a long time, but the group is fine. We’re united.

And when asked what Inter needed to do to stop Barca, Lautaro replied.

“We have a very good advocated against a large team in this competition. Tomorrow we have to work hard as a group and not acknowledge our chances of scoring.”

Lautaro gave one word to explain what the Inter needed to beat Barcelona tomorrow: “compactness.”

He explained: “I think this is a keyword because we have to unite. This week has been tough for all of us. We are the first fans to suffer when we lose. We don’t want it and we don’t accept it.

And what should Barcelona fans see from Lautaro?

“I’m an older Lautaro, but I want to keep winning and play in the finals, I want to face Barcelona and my teammates in the right way. We worked very hard.

Argentina International also played it when asked about his candidacy for Baron de Or.

“Individual awards always come as a result of teamwork. I always want to think about the group, win the game, make my fans and my family happy. That’s it.

“Individual awards come after collective things. I’m interested in this group. When the awards come, it’s thanks to the team and the work of this group.”
