Interlone Francesco Pio Esposito officially signed an extension with Nerazzurri until June 2030.
Promising Italian striker Francesco Pio Esposito has signed an extension of his contract with INTER until 2030.
The 19-year-old striker was loaned out at Spezia and scored 14 goals in 29 Serie B matches.
“A Story About Inter, A Story About Family: Francesco Pio Esposito has officially extended his contract with Inter until June 30, 2030.
“He shared this dream with his brothers Salvatore and Sebasciano. He shared his childhood experiences and the first kick of the ball. At age 6, Francesco Pio joined the youth sector in Brescia with his brother. During the 2018/19 season, he was part of Inter under 14 and coach Christian Cibb, who proved his career was decisive.
“Esposito played with all teams in the youth sector and went through a difficult two years as the under-15 and under-16 leagues were postponed as a result of the pandemic. In the 2021/22 season, Francescopio was the under-17 inter starting forward, scoring 21 goals in 24 games. For the under-18, he made his Primavera debut, winning the following year, eight minutes in the youth league.
“Esposito was coached by Christian Chib and played a minor on the Primavera side. The Romanian coach chose him as Captain of the Side, while Francesco Pio showed his worth, scoring 16 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions. The league has proven to be a rehearsal of the dress in 27 matches.
“Pio made his international debut with a team under 17 in 2021. Esposito had an incredible summer in 2023. In June he participated in the Argentina Under 20 World Cup, a tournament where Esposito appeared six times and scored in the quarter-finals against Colombia. Bolini’s winning side at the Under 19 European Championships held in Malta.
“We beat Portugal in the final to win the tournament. Esposito has made five appearances and scored once. Since September 2023, Esposito has been the focus of national teams under 11.
