Alvaro Morata has long farewell to Galatasaray’s supporters as the move to Como is official, but criticised the Turkish club for failing to respect their commitment and for failing to “recognise and compensate what has been acquired.”
Morata officially became the new Como player on Tuesday morning. No official announcements have been posted yet, but the player’s contract has been deposited. Checked on the Lega Serie A website.
The Spaniards suspended the loan agreement between Milan and Galatasaray to ensure the transition from Milan to Como.

Morata: “Respect for fundamental values was not overshadowed” in Galatasarai
But before his move became official, Morata took Galatasarai to Instagram to criticize him for not respecting his unspecified commitment and lack of values and professionalism.
“Dear Gala fans and Turkish people,” and a statement on Morata’s Instagram profile read.
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the love, warmth and support you have shown me. You have been welcoming me from the first day.

“Unfortunately, I can’t say the same thing about my experience with the club, and there were moments when respect for the given words and fundamental values were not supported.
“Until the end, the commitments made were not respected, and I was left with no part of my salary or any other contractual rights left.
“To me, not recognizing and not compensating what I have acquired is contrary to the value of fairness and professionalism that I believe in.

“I know these issues are often not spoken openly, but I think it’s right to actually explain to the fans what happened. You and the city of Istanbul always stay with me.
“I would like to ask for a special thanks to my coach and his incredible staff. I am sure I will continue to write about the history of Galatasaray. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the moment we share it and to all the people who work in the training facility.
“Lovely, Alvaro.”
