Napoli coach Antonio Conte has claimed he “dominated” against Milan on Sunday despite a 2-1 defeat, but has admitted there are situations where his players have to “attack and improve.”
Conte held a press conference on Tuesday the eve of a Champions League match against Sports CP.
Italian tacticians were injured to Amir Rrahmani, Leonardo Spinazzola and Mathias Olivera, Giovanni di Lorenzo stopped, Luca Marianucci injured from the UEFA list, reducing defense options.
Olivera and Spinazola trained separately on Monday, but Conte and his staff hope to recover at least one for tomorrow’s fixture. Otherwise, Elziv Elmas could have played as right-back.
“For all teams playing in European competitions, there are less training and training sessions, so more injuries are inevitable,” Conte said via Tuttonapoli.
“When you play, your muscles are under stress and you don’t train. It’s a lack of proper training that can cause problems, but it’s part of the game.”
Kevin de Bruin has been drawing attention for his angry response to being replaced, but Serie A legend Fabio Capello also criticised the exhibit against Milan on Sunday.
“I don’t like talking about individuals. You win and lose as a team,” Conte insisted.

“I repeat that I was more satisfied with Sunday evening in terms of performance than more struggles than the two wins last year. We dominated the game at Sansilo, but that doesn’t happen every day.
“That being said, Kevin is a Neapolitan player. If the team works well, he does well. If the team is struggling, what will he give us? He is a player that we have to support. We try to find an extreme balance. For three days we will integrate not only one, but new players.
“Everything is already clear. At home, they say “clear agreement, long friendship,” and the situation is already closed. ”
Conte also warned the athletes about sports the next European enemy, the CP.
Partenopei lost an opening Champions League match against Manchester City two weeks ago, but played to 10 players for more than 70 minutes following a red card from DiLorenzo.

“Sports is the top team that systematically competes in the league with Porto and Benfica. They are top tiers at the top level,” Conte said.
“I also faced them in the group phase with Tottenham, but a lot of those players are still there and have experience. It’s a great team and you have to play knowing we’re facing strong rivals.
“Manchester had a red card, but we held on, and Foden’s magic was the only one that led to the goal. We need to acknowledge early and be more careful about Milan. With two goals, we need to work and improve.
