Gianluigi donnarumma is “prideful” to join Manchester City and Pep Guardiola: “One of the great managers in the history of football.”
Manchester City confirmed the purchase of Captain Azuri on Tuesday.
Donnarumma’s contract with PSG was due to expire in June 2026, but the Ligue 1 giant had already signed Lucas Chevalier to replace him.

Donnaruma “excited to start” in Manchester City

The Azzurri captain has been added to social media, saying he “wanted to start” while Manchester City posted a video of the goalkeeper at Coverciano’s Italian training centre.

Donnaruma was diagnosed with medical tests in Florence on Monday, accompanied by his agent Enzo Raiola.
Football Italy understands Donnaruma will earn 15 million euros in the first year of his contract at Etihad Stadium. His salary will increase to 16 million euros over the next two years and 17 million euros over the past two years at the club.
