Adrian Rabiot is “very happy” in Milan and believes Max Allegri’s “mentality” is beginning to be implemented at the club.
France International was waiting until today to greet supporters at the club’s flagship store via Dante as it had been late arrival on the deadline from the Olympics Marseille.
Rabiot welcomes the enthusiastic Milan
“I’m happy because everyone from my teammates to my staff and fans have been so welcoming to me. Everything so far has been positive,” Rabiot told Milane.
He had several different options after freezing from Marseille due to a locker room brawl with then-instructor Jonathan Lowe, but Milan also chose him because he allowed him to reunite with former Juventus coach Alegri.
“He’s a strong coach and we have quality players here, so we just need to keep working. I can already see the quality Milan side that wants to work with young talent and more experienced people who can help them along the way.
“I know the coach and his staff very well. I know their mentality. And I think the players are beginning to learn that. You can see it on the field. I have this desire to win and maintain a clean sheet, but obviously I am not the only one.
“I’m so happy to be here. I think I’ll be able to see it in my performance. I want to do my best and make these fans happy.”

Does Rabiot feel that Allegri can build something important in Milan?
“Yes, this is what coaches are good, they create units and make everyone feel involved. This is a key factor when building a team they want to win. The team has changed a lot, but it’s going very well, so I was honestly surprised at how quickly it happened.
The first big test of the season will be the champion of Naples in Italy, which will then be the reunion of Rabiot and Alegri with Juventus.
“I’m not saying this is a Scudetto test because this season has a long way to go, but we can test ourselves and see how far we have come.
“Apart from that, I have good people who Juventus has helped me a lot, so I have the best people and I have memories of my five years there.”
