Roma is interested in a contract with Italian international David Frattesi, who is more likely to leave after being left on the bench for alternatives due to a 5-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final.
Born in the Italian capital and spent three years at the Rome academy, Frattesi has linked to a move away from this summer, with recent reports claiming that if Simone Inzagi is in charge he will “become 100% away.”
Since joining Sasuoro’s Nerazzuri in the summer of 2023, the 25-year-old has had to settle in his role as an understudy, primarily, and is understood to be unhappy with the lack of opportunities as a Sanshiro starter.

The recent disappointment came when Fratesi was left on the bench for the Champions League final, despite providing decisive goals against both Bayern Munich and Barcelona against both the Quarters and the semi-finals.
According to a report on Sunday, Frattesi currently claims he is open to leaving Inter.
Roma and Napoli, who are interested in Frattesi, trade with Inter
According to reports from Calciomercato.comRome rekindled interest in signing Fratesi in the summer transfer window, increasing the interest reported by Naples, the 2024-25 Scudetto winner.
Gialorossi also expressed interest in re-signing the former youth player during the January transfer period, but ultimately failed to match Inter’s 40 million euro price tag.
However, Monday’s report claims Inter could talk to Fratesi to leave for a slightly reduced fee during the summer transfer period.

It is also possible that Rome will try to negotiate an additional “discount” by including Nikola Zarewski in negotiations with Inter. Lend the option to buy for 6.5 million euros.
Still, according to Calciomercato, Rome is not just a club of interest, as Napoli is understood to be eager to sign, like many unspecified Premier League clubs.
