Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sara claims he did everything with his power to help drive the sale of the San Sirosite to Milan and Inter, but admits that the matter can be embarrassed for days after the city council’s decisive vote.
The Milan City Council held a meeting Thursday to discuss the potential sale of the San Sirosite, including the iconic studio Giuseppe Meazza.
It is understood that Inter and Milan will seek to completely renovate the stadium if the sale is approved. Recent reports claim that if more than 90% of the current form of ground is demolished, it will give way to new, cutting-edge ground.
Manica, who specializes in building sports venues with her Foster + partners led by the iconic Norman Foster, has already signed an agreement with Milan and Intel to design new ground if the city council approves the site to be sold.

A potential sale of Sansilo will be discussed by city council members on Thursday, and the issue will be voted on Monday.
The club needs a majority of lawmakers to vote in favor of the San Siro Sale. If the voting finishes leveling, there is another re-voting. If that end level is the second time, approval will not be granted.
Mayor Sarah argued ahead of the city council meeting on Thursday:
“I negotiated a lot in my professional career. There’s nothing new at this point. I did everything I could. I need to wait for approval now.
“Obviously, I want a decision that is supported, but after that I can’t guarantee anything.”

A report from Calcio e Finanza shows that councillors are evenly divided into the issue, indicating that voting could go either way.
“It’s a question I understand as divisive, but councillors need real freedom of thinking and have to play their part,” Sarah said.
Thursday’s report suggests that 24 of the 49 Milan City Council members intend to vote in favor and 24 intend to vote in no way. It leaves one council member still there. Calcio e Finanza suggests that the person is Marco Fumagalli.

“I saw him, I understand what he thinks,” Sarah said. “He has reservations. He hasn’t decided yet. We have to see what he does.
“In my opinion, I explained to him why Milan needs to have a new stadium. “You should decide your conscience and think about it.” It’s not certain what he’ll vote for. He hasn’t decided yet last night.
