Juventus, coached by Luciano Spalletti, were held to three consecutive draws, and Fiorentina were still without a win in Serie A, while manager Rolando Mandragola’s screams canceled out Filip Kostic’s opening goal.
Both clubs sacked their coaches this month after a disastrous start to the season, with Paolo Vanoli making his debut in a 2-2 draw against Genoa and Moise Kean also returning, but still missing Robin Gosens, Tariq Lamptey and Christian Kouame. Luciano Spalletti overcame back-to-back defeats against Sporting CP and Torino, with Lloyd Kelly back in defence, while Daniele Rugani was on the treatment table along with Grayson Bremer, Alek Milik and Carlo Pinsorio.
See how it all unfolded in our live blog.

There was controversy in the opening moments when Vlahovic surprised Pablo Mari with a cheeky backheel flick, turned and ran into the box, where he was brought down for a penalty. However, the referee changed his mind after a VAR on-field review, pointing out that if the Juventus striker initiated anything, it was a tug on each other’s shirts.
This was followed by ugly, hateful chants against the Serbs from some of Fiorentina’s ultras that intensified to the point that the referee briefly stopped play while a statement was read out.
Moise Kean came close to putting the hosts ahead in the 25th minute, firing a fierce shot past substitute defender Teun Coopmeiners that bounced off the underside of the crossbar.

Rolando Mandragora’s free-kick went wide of the near post, but there was a great chance as Michele Di Gregorio’s long ball was flicked on by Blachowicz with his back to goal, Pablo Mari turned and cleared it past David de Gea, only for Marin Pongrac to send it wide and into the side netting.
Juventus took the lead deep into first-half stoppage time, but after several shots and crosses that were not effectively cleared, Kostic finally scored with a powerful left-footed shot from outside the area into the bottom corner of the goal.

Dodo was sent off at half-time with a muscle problem, but Fiorentina were back on level terms thanks to a screamer from former Juventus midfielder Mandragola. Mandragora took Keane down and delivered an unstoppable finish from distance into the top corner.
The game was end-to-end, and before Manuel Locatelli could test De Gea, Di Gregorio got off with a fingertip save to force Keane’s accurate daisy cutter into the base of the far post, and his shot pinballed into the corner, but no one could cross the line.
Coop Miners’ through ball found Fabio Miletti, who found the side netting, Francisco Conceição’s diagonal drive was denied by Pablo Mari’s block, but Weston McKennie’s header was acrobatically tipped over the bar by De Gea.
Juve pushed further in the final stages, but it was Spalletti’s third consecutive stalemate in all competitions.
Fiorentina 1-1 Juventus
Kostić 45+6 (J), Mandragora 48 (F)
