The lineup will take part in the first Serie A fixture on its Sunday schedule. Cagliari hosts Monza in key matches in race top stays on top flights.
Kick-offs are paid early at 11.30 GMT.
Cagliari sat three points above the relegation zone before kickoff and could extend that buffer to six points by winning on Sunday in the home soil. Monza stays at the bottom of the table with just 15 points after 29 games.
The hosts made two changes after a narrow 1-0 defeat by Rome before an international break. Tomaso Augero replaces left-wing Adam Obert, while Alessandro Deiola gives way to Mattia Felici.
Monza made only one change to the starting lineup, following the previous 1-1 draw with Parma. Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro will replace Kevin Zeroli in the midst of the only change in HR. Armando Izzo has kept his position in the starting lineup after being cleared by a match fix earlier in the week.
