Inter Milan manager Simone Inzagi has decided to start Nicolo Valera with midfield and Francescoervi in defense against Fiorentina. Tonight’s Serie A Match Day 24 Match begins at 20.45 CET.
Tonight is Serie A’s Fiorenti-Ni Interface. They host the Tuscan side in San Siro. This is the second time two teams have met within a week.
Nerazzurri played for Stadio Artemio Franchi on Thursday.
That match was a make-up fixture for the match kicked off in early December, but had been postponed due to a medical emergency for midfielder Edoardo Bove.
And it was a disaster for Intel. Nerazzurri lost the match 3-0. This is a big stumbling block in the Serie A title push and its heaviest defeat since 2019.
So Inter will certainly need a big response in tonight’s rematch.
So it’s not too surprising that Intercoach Simone Inzagi has decided to make some changes to the lineup.
Meanwhile, Inter’s title fell into a surprising draw with Udinese yesterday. So there’s a chance that Nerazzurri will soon get some ground back.
Nicolo Barrera begins midway through – Return to defense and Aselbi
First, Yann Sommer starts at the Inter finish. Therefore, he continues his run this season to start all of Inter’s Serie A matches.
Secondly, there are two notable changes to the defense.
First, former Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavad will replace Jan Bisek in the back three.
And Francesco Aserbi made his first appearance at Inter in 79 days. Italian International last played in a Serie clash with Gellas Verona in November.
Finally, Alessandro Bastoni completes Interback 3.
Meanwhile, there are significant changes in the middle.
Davide Frattesi drops out of the starting eleven. So, instead of him, Nicolo Barrera returns to the lineup.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Hakan Calhanoglu nod once more.
Finally, in the attack, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thurlam maintain their place.
