EPA11997521 Juventus head coach Igor Tudor is currently active as coach Igor Tudor during a soccer A soccer match between Juventus FC and CFC Genoa in Juventus, Italy on March 29, 2025.
Igor Tudor is “very happy” with Juventus’ debut and has confirmed that he has a “different style” for Thiago Motta, but admits that it’s “clear” that the Ten Coopminers are still struggling.
After the decision to loot Thiago Motta six days ago and bring in Tudor, who had already experienced this club as a player and assistant manager for Andrea Pirlo, all the pressure was in Bianconeri.
It paid off as they scored a 1-0 victory over Genoa and ended their disastrous outcomes as determined from a close angle by the Kenan Ildis strike.
However, the move was triggered by Tudor acting as a ball boy, causing Teun Koopmeiners to take a quick throw-in. It was placed on him that he deserved some credit for a kind of assist.
“Thank you,” Tudor smiled at Dazen.
“I’m very pleased because Genoa was fine, they fought hard, we were out of difficult moments.”
Tudor changes Juventus after Thiago Motta

He transformed the approach taken by Thiago Motta, starting with three defenses, but placed a quick pass beyond owned football.
“We only had two or three training sessions, and while the enthusiasm is clearly boosted, that’s all we can do on a tactical and psychological level, it’s all different tactical systems.
“I’m happy because the young people understood. They wanted to do a lot. There was more we could do, but that’s normal. We’re happy with our fans. We fought the heart to get this outcome.
“Now we have a day off and ultimately we have a full team at our disposal to do serious work for a week.”

Tudor brought some of his traditional energy to the touchline.
Manuel Rocatelli continued to pass Kenan Ildis’s forward, and the coach continued to scream that Dusan Vlahovic didn’t look too hard for the ball.
“Locatelli has this ability to make search passes. I liked Dusan’s performance. His defense was solid and I think he worked really hard in the middle.
One concern remains for Koopmeiners. He struggled to make an impact again and was instead jealous by Juventus fans.
“I agree that it’s not a big-form moment for him. That’s clear. He’s been showing him a strong player over the years, so the only way he’s to be physical and mental. He’s a good young man.
